Sex crashers… ⭐️ Book Review ⭐ The Wedding Crasher Author: Mia Sosa Book Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Based on the cover and blurb I thought this was going to be a light-hearted romp. Wow… this is a steamy one 🥵🚨❤️‍🔥 I’m still trying to cool down! If you like the fake dating trope, Sosa doubles down on it. We all know how the story goes so it takes a creative touch to add something fresh to this tried and true classic. The story alternates between Solange and Dean, who meet at Dean’s wedding. Solange is helping out her wedding planner cousin, when she overhears Dean’s fiance confessing her love for another man. During the ceremony Solange stops the wedding. After the wedding, Dean needs a new GF to help woo Kimberly, a potential hire for his law firm, and her girlfriend Nia. Side note, I never understood why people in relationships seem to be more secure. Solange, feeling guilty, accepts the task. The new couple triple dates with Dean’s work rival, Peter and his wife. Peter is looking for a reason to bring down Dean so he can become partner. The group dates start out typical, but when the other two couples bail on the third date, Dean and Solange decide to go to Peter’s friend’s party together. It’s a SEX party, which was news to them. This chapter is everything! Sosa gets down and dirty quickly, and the two discuss what gets them hot and bothered by watching a show worth remembering. Their relationship heats up afterwards and it delivers! There’s romance, steam and new beginnings. My only critique is Dean’s mother! She comes in at the end and her insane oversharing both helps and hinders their relationship. I just don’t buy that she would share all this info to Solange. It just seemed too convenient to move the story along. If you are looking for a feel-good spicy read you should add this to your TBR! #QOTD - Do you like the fake dating trope?
