⭐ Book Review ⭐ The Pumpkin Spice Café Author: Laurie Gilmore Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I like to review each book within its genre, and as far as cozy romances go, it doesn’t get much cozier than this. Welcome to Dream Harbor! A place so vividly described you’ll swear you can smell the cinnamon lattes and feel the crisp autumn breeze rustle the café awning. The world-building is strong. From the quaint streets to the charming café interior and the familiar faces, you genuinely feel like you know these people. The setting wraps around you like your favourite sweater and invites you to stay awhile. The romance... well, it warms you up. There are spicy sex scenes tucked toward the end (yes, they deliver). My only hope? That they had been spaced out a bit more evenly so the build-up had more breathing room. As is, the climax comes fast and hot. If you’re in the mood to tune out life’s drama—no heavy lifting required—this is your book. It asks little of you but lets you drift into a comfortable, feel-good vibe. Curl up, sip something pumpkin-spiced, and enjoy the ride. #QOTD - Do you read seasonally?
