Part #4 of our chat with author/editor @miranda LUV: Tell us something most people don’t know about you. Miranda: I grew up in rural Wisconsin, in a county with more than four times as many cows as people. I was a band geek in high school, a pretty good trumpet player, and was recruited to be the official bugler of my town’s VFW chapter. I played Taps at all the military funerals in the area for many years and did the “tour of cemeteries” with the VFW post members every Memorial Day. My thirteen-year-old son now plays my old trumpet in his middle school band and I’m taking piano lessons for the first time again in decades.
