Part #2 of our chat with historical romance author @katherinegrant LUV: You write smart women, sensitive men, and a healthy teaspoon of history. Can you tell us about your books? Katherine: My current series, The Prestons, is a little bit like Bridgerton: it follows a set of siblings as they fall in love in Regency Britain. The Preston family is a radical noble family that boycotts imports from the slave labor economy. They also share the profits of their country estate with everyone who lives and works there. In each book, the protagonists must confront what it means to be a Preston, whether they believe in their family’s core values, and what they want to bring with them as they shape their own lives. I also write a spinoff series, the Northfield Hall Novellas, which are all about the working class people living and working at the Prestons’ country home!
