Part #4 of our chat with author @lucyfelthouse LUV: What is your writing schedule like? Are you a full-time writer or do you juggle a second profession? Lucy: Oh, it’s chaotic. I’m self-employed and I work from home, and I class myself as having a dozen (at least) small jobs which, together, make up a full-time job. As well as writing, I do editing and proofreading, I help fellow authors with marketing and promotion, create websites, etc. Pretty much everything I do is linked with writing and authors in some way, so if people suddenly stop reading, I’m in trouble! Basically, if I’m working on a book, I focus a lot on that and squeeze other things in around it. But then when a book is released and off my plate I fill that time vacuum with loads of other projects, which can often mean I don’t even start writing my next book for months. I figure as long as I’m always busy and I can keep paying my bills, it’s all good.
