Happy Monday Luverlies 💕 This week we our spotlighting @lucyfelthouse who's an award-winning author of erotic romance novels. LUV: You are an award-winning author of erotic romance with over 170 publications including novels, short stories and novellas. Can you tell us about your writing journey? How did you start? What obstacles did you have to overcome? What inspired and continues to inspire you? Lucy: Thank you so much for inviting me to be interviewed—I really appreciate it. I always wanted to write, ever since I was a child. I’ve always been an avid reader, and very early on that translated into a love of writing stories. I was always scribbling into notebooks, creating fantasy worlds and adventures. I wish I had those notebooks now—I’d be fascinated to see what I came up with! As I grew older and more practical, I realized, unless you’re very lucky, you don’t get to just sit and write and have people give you money. However, I didn’t know what I wanted to do as a career, so I ended up studying Creative Writing at university because I thought it made sense to study something I would enjoy, and it would buy me three more years to figure something out. While I was there, one of my fellow students dared me to have a go at writing an erotic story. I did, and it went down really well in my group of friends, and the rest is history!
