This week LUV is spotlighting screenwriting duo, Katy Breier and Erica Deutschman. LUV: Congratulations on your recent Christmas movie Operation Nutcracker moving into production! Tell us what you love most about Christmas movies. E - We’re so lucky we get to do this for a living because within these Christmas stories, you always find themes of friendship, family, and of course, love! It’s a nice reminder for me, in my real life, to take a moment to appreciate what I have and hopefully our Christmas movies make people feel the same way! K - Another thing I love about writing Christmas movies is we often get to incorporate our Christmas traditions and experiences in the pages of a script… or even start new traditions thanks to ideas we’ve put in our scripts! It’s always a fun opportunity to have life imitate art. LUV: What Christmas project(s) you are currently working on or most recently worked on? E - We’re so excited that Operation Nutcracker is well into production and can’t wait to see it next Christmas!
