The other day I mentioned my SAR based romance. Well this is one of my canine partners and a major influence for the book. Not only was he rescued from a shelter then trained to find live people (my other dog is a cadaver dog), but much of the ruckus Havoc causes is the same Jager did when we were first training. This boy is now 6 (and his birthday is today) and has been nationally certified for 4 yrs. He’s given back 10 fold and I couldn’t ask for a better canine partner.
