This is probably my heart book. I am so grateful for the opportunity Carina Press gave me to portray search and rescue more accurately in fiction. As an actual SAR canine handler it was so important to me to have a book more accurately showing K9 SAR in books. And am equally as happy (though was nervous at first) that many of my canine handler friends loved it too.
