Part #4 of our chat with author @cindykeh LUV: What is your favorite romance movie or television show that really captures the essence of romance novels? Can you explain how it does so? Cindy: I’ve already mentioned “Romancing The Stone,” “Dead To Me,” and “Yellowstone,” with the last two being an example of unconventional romances. But I also have favorite true romances: “Ever After” with Drew Barrymore and “Sense and Sensibility” are two that come to mind. I cry at the end every time I watch them. Monica and Chandler from Friends were my fave TV couple of all time! I loved their relationship so much. I like my lovers to be friends, sharing things in common, funny inside jokes and mature problem solving. LUV: What is your favorite romance comfort read and/or watch?/Who is an author that inspires you. Cindy: I really adore TL Swan books. Her men are so flawed and layered. Give me a messy dude any day! Melanie Harlow is another author that digs into the emotions of the men. For female writers it’s easy for us to write female emotions. But when I find an author that bores into the the very soul of the male characters I will consume their whole library.
