She's the only girl in the baseball team and q damn good catcher at that she's a daddy's girl and proud of it! Charlie's crush has asked another girl to prom and her other friends have made plans too but it just didn't include her! And graduation is approaching so she's sad that maybe she'll have to let go of her passion of playing ball now, since people at college wouldn't know her skill and so they wouldn't pick her in team. She decides to quit the team, lo and behold the curtain reveals Jace the team captain and his twin Leila who becomes her godmother and transform the tomboy into a girl who still loves the sport! Firstly I loved that this book didn't have stereotypical blonde cheerleaders and dumb jocks. A heartwarming story of Charlotte turned Charlie because she lost her mom so young and had only dad growing up. I loved the characters and how each had a huge part in Charlie's life and development. I usually love YA romances but when it's from Kelly I just wish that I could rate it a six or seven out of five!! Perfectly nailed the ya romance aspect with very light romance and was focused entirely on Charlie's transformation. Definitely recommended by me to every romance lover out there!!
