Part #4 of our chat with @Justine Wentzell-Chang LUV: When did you know you wanted to be a writer? How did you embark on the journey? Justine: Probably when I was about 6-years-old after reading the entire Anne of Green Gables series. I just fell in love with words and stories, and was always writing and journaling. How I ended up screenwriting was unintentional though. From my time in acquisitions and co-productions, I had done a lot of development. So, when I left my job, I continued development consultation and decided I should learn how to actually write a script so that I could be a better development consultant or executive. It’s one thing giving notes, but it’s another thing actually doing the writing. Through writing my first script, I completely fell in love with screenwriting and my screenwriting career evolved from there.
