This week LUV is spotlighting @Justine Wentzell-Chang Justine is an author, screenwriter, producer, copywriter and songstress. Her latest film, "A Big Fat Family Christmas" premieres this Friday December 3rd on the Hallmark Channel at 8/7c. Part #1 of LUV's interview with Justine LUV: Many people dream about being a writer. You have held several roles in the movie business including producer and writer. Do you have a preference? How did your career begin and how has it evolved? Justine: I love both producing and writing, but writing for me is like breathing. You won’t find me not writing. However, I also think that to be an effective writer you have to think like a producer. And what I love about producing is putting pieces together and all the little details. I have an entrepreneurial spirit and that’s basically what producing is – each project is running a small yet intricate business. So, I feel blessed to have had experience on both sides of the table. My career really began in law school and the country music industry though. And it evolved because I’ve always listened to my gut and my ambition. Ultimately, everything has led me full circle to my childhood dream of being a writer, but in ways I never dreamed of.
