As you may be aware, catastrophic floods recently hit eastern Kentucky, which is where I have my roots and is just a few hours south of where I live. Letcher County Schools in the affected region lost - entirely - two elementary school libraries and one middle school library. They are accepting books in good condition and appropriate for those age ranges at: Board of Education, 752 Hazard Road, Whitesburg, KY 41858.
